Worcester, MA (Nov. 10, 2015) – The Venture Forum, a Worcester organization dedicated to helping entrepreneurs launch and grow successful tech businesses, will hold its December program on Tuesday, December 8th, from 5:30-8:30 pm at the Rubin Campus Center, Odeum (3rd floor) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. VentureMeets is a networking event and business community that helps bring together entrepreneurs, business professionals, investors, college students and people who are generally looking to start a business or grow one.
December’s program attendees, who can range from entrepreneurs to inventors and idea makers, will be given the opportunity to learn how to present their startup to different audiences, and how best to convey their company, invention, program, or idea. The program, which is co-hosted with VentureMeets, will feature a workshop presenting different communication strategies and product demos from local startups. These startups will be at individual tables practicing different ways to communicate their message. Attendees will participate as judges, and will vote for the best presentations. Participants should leave the event knowing which products are being developed locally to fill the product development pipeline.
Local graduate-turned-entrepreneur, Rebecca Liebman will be the program’s featured presenter. Liebman has garnered national attention for her tech startup, LearnLux, and has won multiple pitch competitions among many other awards, accolades, and recognitions. December’s program will specifically explore Liebman’s successful approaches to communication about her startup to different audiences.
For non-members of The Venture Forum, the event will be priced at $15. The event is free for The Venture Forum and VentureMeets members, presenters, sponsors and students, but advanced registration is required. College/University ID will be requested from students at check-in. There will be a $5 registration fee for student walk-ins. To secure one of the limited spots for product or service demos, contact Rosemarie Boulanger at email@example.com.
